Suzanne was born and raised in Timmins Ontario . She obtained her law degree from Moncton New Brunswick Law School. She was the first Ontarian to complete a common law degree (LL.B) completely in the French language. Suzanne was admitted to the Ontario Bar in April 1984. Practice of law: I opened my law practice in July 1984 and have been practicing as a sole practitioner since that date. I have enjoyed a successful career. Within 6 months of opening my practice represented major land developer. I have also represented both vendor’s and purchasers in the sale and acquisition of a business. I expanded my practice in early 2000 in the vast area of Employment Law which includes both provincially and federally governed employers . One of my strengths in the practice of law is my ability to draft complex contracts and review and amend contracts because of my careful attention to details, which I enjoy. I have representing a number of First Nation organizations in the James Bay area where I have been guiding them on issues such as disciplinary letters, letters of termination, Employment contracts, amend and draft employment policies. In closing I enjoy practicing law, and the more complex the matter before me is, the more challenging it is for me. My practice brings about a lot of personal enjoyment and self- satisfaction. I have had one motto throughout my 30 years of practice which is: “If you are happy with our services, tell your friends; If not, please tell me.”
