Since 2002, the Timmins-Temiskaming Community Legal Clinic has provided poverty law services to members of our community in English and French. We are committed to bringing justice to low-income individuals and disadvantaged groups. Non-profit legal clinics aim to improve the quality of life and self-reliance for low income individuals by helping them with their legal problems. We do this through a combination of legal representation, summary legal advice, referrals to other lawyers or social agencies and public legal education. Our catchment area is from Timmins to Latchford, including New Liskeard, Kirkland Lake, Iroquois Falls, Matheson, and other linking municipalities. Our services are offered at no cost to clients who qualify financially. Our vision is to be a visible, permanent, accessible, reputable legal service provider that is an integral part of the Timmins-Temiskaming area. Our main areas of practice are: Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Landlord & Tenant Board (Tenant only) Ontario Works (OW) Employment Insurance Canada Pension Plan Disability Consumer Issues
