IAMGOLD Corporation, in a joint venture with Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., owns and operates Côté Gold. Côté Gold will be an open-pit mine near Gogama, Ontario. Côté was developed in partnership with Mattagami First Nation and Flying Post First Nation. It is located in an established mining region with access to stable infrastructure and strong connections to local communities. To achieve consistent and efficient operations, Côté Gold is implementing autonomous haul trucks and drills as the first pieces in its technological foundation. By leveraging data and advanced analytics, Côté will further improve precision and operational excellence. Côté Gold is in its construction phase until late 2023.
