Millson Forestry Service

Established in 1980 by husband and wife team Sue and Dave Millson, Millson Forestry Service has provided complete silvicultural and harvesting services to northeastern Ontario and beyond. Operations have evolved considerably over the years as required by markets and contracts but our experience has included all aspects of forestry.  We believe that a well planned approach to the life cycle of a forest has no beginning and no end. All segments of the forest industry are equally important to properly maintain growing and evolving forests. Today, Millson Forestry Service is proudly run by Jenny Millson, the second generation of our family to lead the business. Under her leadership, we continue to build on our legacy of excellence and commitment to sustainability.

Our services have always revolved around enhancing forest regeneration. Whether it’s quality source known seed, hardy seedlings, optimized harvest utilization or maximized silvicultural coverage. We have always been advocates for planting more trees. In recent years we have seen an increased interest from private companies and individuals for our various services – which is very encouraging. It is the actions of individuals that will determine the environment we leave behind for future generations. As we continue to evolve our operations it will always be with a focus on environmental sustainability.
